Davor Hrg is a programmer with 12 years of experience in software development in the field of information and telecommunication technologies.
Davor was employed at Iskon Internet, Tramot Ltd., Alterbox Ltd., Argonaut Ltd. and Optima Telekom. By mere chance he takes a position at Inland Navigation Development Centre Ltd., where he gets interested in ICT utilization for the inland waterway sector, together with Damir Obad and Vedran Bolfek. The three are “guilty” of RIS implementation on the Danube in Croatia. The quality and innovation of their work was recognized in Europe as well, resulting in RIS implementation projects in Slovakia, Serbia, France and Bulgaria.
The projects where Davor was involved include: data exchange via AIS network, ERI web interface, CGI administrative interface for Linux on the Blackfin platform, multiple PHP backend administrative interfaces, NtS web service, web service for the CB-RIS project (electronic data exchange interface), internal CRM solution at Optima Telekom. He demonstrates extensive experience in the following development tools and programming languages: Java J2SE and Java development tools, Java J2EE (EJB3), Tapestry web framework, PHP, Javascript/CSS, MYSQL, ORACLE, .NET (J# and C#), FLASH-Actionscript, Unix/Linux, Windows systems (95,98,NT, 2000, XP), Borland-Delphi, CGI.
Davor was actively involved in the implementation of an EU project, PLATINA, acting as IT expert for RIS related activities, as well as web development of four RIS /IWT reference websites.
He is an active member of NtS and ERI expert groups.
Apart from having knife sharpening as a hobby, he is a very good goal keeper

Darko holds Master’s diploma in Electrical Engineering, specialized in telecommunications and informatics. For the lack of other challenges in his life, he decides to enroll in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Zagreb and now is a senior student of Financial Mathematics. He demonstrates a high level of English language proficiency as well as excellent knowledge of several software developing environments and programming languages (Java, VB.NET, ASP.NET, PHP, SQL) acquired over several years of professional experience in software design and development. Early enough in his career he was given a demanding task of designing the Lock Management System within the scope of RIS implementation in Serbia, as well as design of Safety AIS message for the purpose of Slovak AIS system upgrade. Darko was also involved in system design and documentation elaboration (user manuals, communication protocols etc.) for the NtS, ERI, Hull Database and DataGateway systems. He took part in specification work for the NtS and ERI upgrade in the CroRIS system, as well as specification and documentation elaboration for the user/administrator of the Data Gateway communication portal within the RIS implementation project in Bulgaria.
He is a member of NtS, ERI and VTT (Vessel Tracking & Tracing) expert groups.
In his free time, he does free climbing, plays badminton, goes jogging, frequently visits the gym ∞. He is a MENSA member.
